Dr. Hao Liu

en zhHao Liu is a postdoctoral researcher at the StructurAI Lab. Previously, he worked as an R&D engineer at Arup. Hao holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from HKUST, where he conducted research at the BIM Lab led by Prof. Jack Cheng. Prior to his doctorate, Hao earned an MSc and BEng from HKUST and SEU, respectively.
Hao’s research focuses on integrating BIM and AI to enhance the automation and efficiency in design, construction, and lifecycle management. His specific interests include, but not limited to, BIM, machine learning, and large language models to enable data-centric and knowledge-informed decision-making processes.
