Zongshuai Wan is a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong. Before joining HKU in 2021, Zongshuai completed his PhD in structural engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology. He has been a visiting researcher at ETH Zurich, Technical University in Munich, and Leibniz University Hannover.  

His research focuses on the interdisciplinary between architectural geometry, structural behaviour, and construction technology. His collaborations with architects, engineers, and mathematicians have yielded novel computational design methods and structural systems, with numerous research and practice projects across Mainland China, Hong Kong and Europe.
